Step By Step Guide
- Download the IDM trial & click on registration . Then a form type will appear asking some details fill them & in the field of serial key copy & paste any of the key from below & click on register .

- Now after you click ok, it will show an error message that you have registered IDM using fake serial key and IDM will exit. so now here your real work will start .
- Now click on start >Run & then paste the following command there & hit enter .
notepad %windir%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
- Then after that a notepad file will appear then just see there it will be written -” 127.0.0.1 localhost ” . The thing you have to do is to copy & paste the lines from blow under the 127.0.0.1 local host as you can see in the image .

Now start your Internet download manager, and now your IDM has been converted to full version and specially when you update next time, your registration will not expire. That means it will remain full version for life time and you can update it without any problems.

plse help me to activate idm . I have followed all steps and it works but when in a notpad i when i use the save option it ask me you don’t have permission to save in this location. contact the administrator to obtain the permission in c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\host.text. so please tell me how i can provide permission from administrator & but steps i have to followed plse plse…….
1.Right click on host.txt and select properties
2.And then select security tab
3.To change permission,Click Edi
4.Allow full control.and apply then Ok
5 Now you able to Save,I hope u got it.

I’m unable to save hosts file.
Error msg is :
You do not have permission to save file in C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\ You need to contact administrator
change the permission means Right click host.txt then select properties then select security then to change permission click edit and then allow full control and then apply ok
its the latest version
my idm doesnt register with any cracked serial key it always says fake serial key, idm is exiting’ whereas others idm take the serial key
please help for IDM registing please ..??
